Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties can now apply for state grants to help pay for repairs from the damage caused by the severe weather on August 9th and 10th, 2024.

Homeowner's must meet the income eligibility requirements, and the damage must have been sustained to their primary residence for whom home and/or flood insurance coverage or other forms of disaster recovery funds are not sufficient to return the home to safe and habitable condition.
