The City of Watertown is dedicated to improving the recreational options for residents and visitors alike. The Black River provides a wide range of activities for people in the area, from kayaking and whitewater rafting to fishing and flat water paddling. In 2008, work will begin on multiple recreation projects along the river including improvements to Bicentennial Park and Marble Street Park. When the final plans are completed they will be available for viewing here. Work will also be completed on improved access to the park and play kayak spot, Hole Brothers, as well as other parks/viewing areas along the river. The City has also begun work on a Trail Master Plan that it hopes to complete in 2008-2009.
