The City provides residents with curbside pickup of brush and yard waste on a seasonal basis.
Service for 2024 will begin on Monday March 11th and continue through November as weather permits.
Collection will coincide with the recycling schedule for your street, which can be found at the link below.
Brush and Green Waste must be placed in the median between the sidewalk and curb by 7 am on the day of collection.
Do not block sidewalks.
Collection Guidelines for Brush:
- Tree limbs and branches cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter
- Place in bundles less than 18 inches in diameter (about an armful) and no longer than 5 feet in length
- Smaller twigs and branches can be placed in hard sided plastic containers weighing less than 40 pounds (separate from Green Waste), preferably with handles
Collection Guidelines for Green Waste:
- Grass clippings, leaves, weeds, and yard plants
- Must be placed in paper bags or re-usable containers not exceeding 40 pounds
- Green Waste in plastic bags will not be collected
- Paper lawn bags and re-usable containers are available at most local vendors
- There is no limit to the number of bags/containers that you can place curbside
