City Comptroller
The City Comptroller is the Chief Financial Officer of the City and the custodian of all City funds. The office is responsible for:
- accounting and financial reporting
- collecting revenues such as City, County and School property taxes, special assessments, water and sewer billings, non-property taxes, inter-governmental payments, franchise fees, refuse fees, bus fares and parking tickets
- processing payroll
- auditing and paying vendor invoices
- investing City funds
- issuing debt
- enforcing property tax collections
- managing parking violations bureau
