City Comptroller

The City Comptroller is the Chief Financial Officer of the City and the custodian of all City funds. The office is responsible for:

• accounting and financial reporting
• collecting revenues such as City, County and School property taxes, special assessments, water and sewer billings, non-property taxes, inter-governmental payments, franchise fees, refuse fees, bus fares and parking tickets
• processing payroll
• auditing and paying vendor invoices
• investing City funds
• issuing debt
• enforcing property tax collections
• managing parking violations bureau
