Each fiscal year (July 1st - June 30th), the City is required to have an independent audit of its financial statements. The financial statements, supporting schedules and note to the financial statements are prepared by City staff in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as prescribed by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
